Introduction
Hello everyone, and welcome to my Wine Blog! My name is Dan Wade although many of my friends call me D. Wade (like the Miami Heat legend). My personal history with wine is quite short since I really did not begin to drink wine at all until I had gotten to college. Growing up, I would occasionally take a sip of something my parents gave me at the dinner table but those were typically red wines and were quite dry (not appealing to a young kid). Once I had reached college, I was able to try some of the classic boxed wine, Franzia and ...... I wasn't very impressed, to put it nicely. Later on, some of my closest friends began choosing wine as their drink of choice which led me to begin exploring. At that point in time, wine to me was a drink that many wealthy or highlife people enjoyed and talked about in a ridiculous way.
